I’m a wife, mom to two wild kiddos, and a photographer who thrives in the beautiful chaos of real family life. My days are a teetering balance of tears & tantrums mixed with snuggles & eskimo kisses. I wouldn’t trade it in a million years, and I want to always remember my kids as they really are – messy hair, crazy clothes, cute scowls, and all.
After starting my family photography business, Alison Amick Photography, I started Little Llamas Portraits so I could capture your cutie’s amazing little details that make them who they are. I wanted to create an experience where moms could relax, kids could be themselves… and you could leave with gorgeous snapshots that show-off your kiddo’s personality and style.

AUTHENTICITY IS A BREATH OF FRESH AIR
I captured every little bit of my babies: their toothless grins, their excitement, their silliness, their wonder, their sweetness. It was all on camera for me to treasure forever. And so were their pouts, their furrowed brows, and their crocodile tears.
There’s something so real about having those images that tell the whole story – the real truth of what it meant to raise those babies and who they were.
Now I get to give you the same gift I gave myself… authentic memories to last a lifetime!
With two littles at home, I found myself losing sight of the beauty of childhood in the mess and noise and chaos of managing my wild ones. But I knew there were so many details about them that I wanted to remember forever… so I just started snapping away.
In an effort to stop the speeding hands of time and capture the real version of my babes, I ended up birthing my “third child” – Little Llamas Portraits.
It was beyond magical. And with no epidural required, I was instantly in love.
